CVQ 25th Anniversary Quilt Challenge

To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of our Conejo Valley Quilters Guild and kick off a new season of quilting, you are invited to our “Challenge 25”, challenging you to produce a quilt no larger than a 25” square.

Your quilt must have 25 items: blocks, colors, strips, circles, flowers, diamonds, pictures or a combination of these. Whatever you choose, just remember there should be 25 of them.

The deadline for your completed quilt is our December 2021 Holiday Social. Any questions, please email Peggie Eichhorn at: eichhornm35@gmail.com

Try something new!

Conejo Valley Quilters --- The 4th Monday Sewing Party

(a virtual monthly event)

The 4th Monday Sewing Party is back! Join us on the 4th Monday of each month at the monthly "4th Monday Sewing Party".  It’s the best of both worlds – you get to hang out with friends (new & old), work on whatever you want, have everything you need at hand, come and go as you need AND you don’t need to tote anything, worry about parking or what you may have forgotten.

Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm PT. Stay the entire time or just stop by.

Location:  Zoom (where else?) & your sewing space

We are gathering virtually on the fourth Monday of each month. The remaining 2021 dates are:

  • November 22

  • December 27

An event reminder and Zoom login details will be provided via email. For more information, contact Janine Mansell at j_9@sbcglobal.net. We hope to see you there.

Board Meetings (open to members only)

Board meetings are currently held on Zoom, the second Monday of each month--except November when there is no meeting. A Zoom link will be sent to all current board members the prior week. Any member wishing to attend can request the link via email cvq.event@gmail.com.  If you have an item to add to the agenda, please contact one of the co-presidents a week before the meeting.

Board members please note that if you cannot attend the meeting, please contact a Board associate or the

co-presidents beforehand so that they can present the status for your position.

Sunshine and Shadows

We all have triumphs and troubles. Some are private and personal, while others invite celebration and consolation. CVQ cares about each of you! If you know of a member who would love kudos or comfort, please contact Cynthia Rust at clbr63@outlook.com. A card or e-card will be sent and if appropriate and desired, a notice written in the following newsletter.
