Creating Quilts for the Community
Thanksgiving 2022
CVQ Members delivered 77 placemats, 11 table runners, 8 table toppers, and an assortment of 34 pot handle pads, hot pads, kitchen towels, napkins and mug rugs, as well as one Thanksgiving quilt. Many Mansions is planning to use the quilt in the community room at one of their facilities at least for holiday meals for children, at which they will be teaching table manners. We received the following Thank You note from Many Mansions:

Pepperdine 2018
Throw pillows were made by CVQ members as gifts for Pepperdine students and staff who endured the Borderline Bar shooting in Thousand Oaks on November 7, 2018. Eleven pillows were made by CVQ members as a comfort to those roommates and staff who lost Alaina Housley, a Pepperdine freshman, in the shooting.

Pillows were made for Alaina's suitemates and Pepperdine staff.
